In My Sights(Male!Reader x Sinon) (One Shot)

 



In a arena that was filled with tree and wild life, were good spots for sniping players. In GGO was a new arena that was recently added when the new update came out. The arena is a combination of a forest, rain forest, and jungle. A strange deer like mutant was drinking from a river side as the trees rustled from the wind. The deer was within the sight of a scope that was analyzing the wind and distance. It resulted in the wind being -15 while the distance was 500. The scope soon aimed in the calculated coordinates.



"Got ya in my sights." A voice whispered as a click was heard. A gunshot echoed through air as the birds flew off. Poking out of the branches was a anti-material SV-98 sniper rifle. It revealed a hooded figure with a armor that looked like an assassin and mercenary. He soon descended from the tree and went to claim his hunt. He knelt down at the dead deer as a item popped out from it after it shattered.  

"Scaled Deer Skin." It said as the player added it to his inventory. He perched himself up on a tree once again. He clicked his inventory and selected the scaled deer skin and an option came up and said craft. He clicked it and dual holsters soon appeared in his inventory. 


"Been searching everywhere for the things to make this." He said as he equipped the holster. He currently had a Smith & Wesson model SW1911 as his sidearm. He decided to head back to the city and buy a secondary pistol. Instantly another SW1911 appeared in the other slot of his holster.


"Guess there is no need for spending money."He looked through the scope of his SV-98 and saw nothing. 


"I guess that's about it for the day." He said as he left he forest. He walked through the forest. He heard a rustling sound and instantly he saw a red light aim at his head. As soon at the gun fired, he tilted his head quickly, barely dodging the bullet. Totally a sniper. He quickly pulled out his dual Smith & Wesson pistols and fired into the direction it came from. He saw something run off. The first thing that caught his eye was blue hair. He ran off into the forest, trying to avoid any vulnerable position.


"Damn it! I gotta get out of here. I barely dodged that one." He said as he hid within the bushes. It was a game of hide and seek now. He walked slowly in the bushes. He saw a Hectate sniper poking out of the bushes, looking for him. He drew out his SV-98 and aimed at the hectate. He fired at it and he swore he saw red and he got shot in the shoulder. He was sure the person suffered as much as he did. They continued like that for a while, hiding, shooting, running. Whoever this player was, he or she must be damn good. 

"That must be Hectate, one of the best snipers in GGO. I can't believe this is happening." He realized after he saw the sniper rifle. He avoided another bullet as he hid behind a tree. He was nearly dead. He fired a few more shots into the direction it came from with his dual pistols. He then took out a flash bang and a smoke grenade. He threw them up in the air and shot them with his two pistols, creating explosion of smoke and light, impossible to see through. He soon ran off and escaped Hectate.


"I think I just got away from the best sniper in GGO. Holy crap, I better get famous for this! He said and went back to the city. A blue haired girl wearing green armor emerged from the bushes as she only grew a little angry.


"Damn, I nearly had him in my sights." She said as she decided to head back to the city. She had to prepare for her mission in the desert.



*A few days later in SBC Glocken*


"Holy shit, I can't believe you escaped Hectate. [F/N], you might get famous for that." The dual wielder's friend said as they were at their favorite club and hangout. They were at the bar counter having their favorite drinks. 


"Yeah, it was like a freaking horror game. More scarier than Five Nights at Freddy's game, even the Nerve gear version. I had to watch my every step. If I didn't kill the scaled deer and got my dual holsters, I would've got my head blown off." [F/N] said as he took a sip of his drink. People overheard him and were impressed.


"Oh yeah, we should get to the wastelands soon so I can help you prepare for the Bullets of Bullets Tournament." [F/N]'s friend said after taking a sip of his drink.


"Yeah, and why don't you join me?" he asked his friend.


"Because [F/N], you've been here a bit longer than me, and I'm not as experienced as you, I promise I'll join the next one. I'll be training you, supporting you, and rooting for you all the way. By the way, I made some good bets on you, so you better win." His friend said with determination.


"I'll win, and I'll make sure you win your bets. You better share some of it with me." [F/N] said as they laughed. They chatted for a bit and realized that [F/N] was the only person in GGO with dual holsters. He was nicknamed Dual shot since his dual wielding ability and precise sniper skill. That bastard Zexeed was talking on the TV about stats. Luckily, [F/N] and his friend didn't fall for his BS. They watched as a player with a skull mask shot him through the TV as everyone laughed. That was until Xexeed looked like he had a heart attack and was disconnected.


"The hell?!" [F/N]'s friend asked as he dropped his drink. [F/N] was speechless as he went wide eyed. They got the hell out of there.


"What was that man?" [F/N] asked while his friend was just fazed.


"I have no idea. Let's just go to the wastelands!" he yelled as they rode off on their motorcycles.


"We are totally finding a new place to hang out!" (Friend name) yelled as they rode on their motorcycles.


"Oh yeah, I was offered some huge coin if I take out that player named Behemoth, think you could assist me?!" [F/N] asked with a grin on his face. 


"HELL YEAH!"




*Later in the desert.*
*Sinon's point of view*


I waited with my squadron as we watched the players walk within the fields. I saw that the one man was hooded, so I aimed and shot at one of their members. I realized that the hooded figure was a high ranked hit man called behemoth pulled out a strong mini gun. Some members of my squad died, so I went down and assisted them. For a moment I swear I saw two players in the distance, but they were gone as soon as I blinked. By the looks of them, they must be assassins, but who were they after? I ran and shot off Behemoth's glasses off and I avoided him. All of my squad members died, but it was just me and Behemoth. I ran high up into a tower while he was blinded. I had to keep a eye out for those two players I saw. I aimed after him, but he looked like he was being shot at. I watched as a player in a black hooded trench coat armor was shooting at him with a anti material SV-98 sniper rifle. I realized that was the same player who escaped from me in the jungle and claimed the dual holsters before me. He ran and leaped from his spot while the other hooded player shot at him with a assault rifle. They were working as a team in sync. The dual wielder soon drew out his SW1911 pistols and fired at him while leaping for cover. They did a fair amount of damage on him, but they were taking cover. Behemoth soon fired some rounds at me and shot off my leg while I leaped from the building. He went wide eyed as I aimed my hectate after him. I went wide eyed as I saw the dual wielder sneak up on Behemoth and slowly aimed his pistol at the side of his head. It was all timing and we shot him in the head at the same time. I landed on the ground while I looked up at the two players. They must be the Dual Assassins.


"Finish her?" The other hooded figure asked.


"Hell no. We only do contracts, remember?" The Dual Wielder said.


"But I did have my sights on her." he said as he pulled down his hood to reveal a male with  (h/l) (h/c) and (fav color) hair and (Fav color) eyes. He was wearing a eye patch of some sort that looked high tech as if it was analyzing me. 


"I won't kill you, but I hope we have a good game at the Bullet of Bullets." he said happily as they logged out while I did the same. I took off my nerve gear and thought about we he said.


"But I did have her in my sights." I repeated.


"Well, I'll have you in my sights first." I said and got up. I decided to go to the park and sit on the swing. I couldn't help but notice a boy with (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes walk by with earphones and listening to music. He caught a balloon that floated from a little girls hand as her mother thanked him.  He then walked to where I was and sat down at a bench and took a glance at me and waved. I shyly waved back. He seemed familiar in a way. He started to text someone on his phone. He just sat there and read a book. It was as if he was waiting for someone. I had to break the silence.


"Um hi. Are you waiting for someone?" I asked as he took out his earphones.


"Yeah, waiting for a friend of mine." he replied and read his book a bit more.


"Do you come here often?" I asked as he closed his book.


"Not really. I walked past this park a good few times though. I live a few blocks away from here with my Pops." He said as I nodded. I saw as another boy  approach him and greeted each other happily. 


"Well okay then, see you." He said and walked off with his friend. I saw Shinkawa and we talked. We went to a cafe and talked for a bit.


"So who was that guy you were talking to?" he asked.


"No one. I was just us two sitting there, so I broke the silence. He seemed pretty kind." I said as he nodded. He seemed a little angered about it. 


"So he wan't flirting with you?" He asked kind of defensively. I felt my cheeks heat up as I shook my head.




*Some time afterwards*
*No one's P.O.V*



[F/N] logged on and decided to go hunting to practice his aiming skills and master his dual wielding ability. He went out and used his pistols on mutants with ease. He then sniped some others from a vantage point. He heard a familiar gunshot as some monsters were dead. He turned to see Sinon on a different vantage point.


"Why hello there!!" he yelled from his vantage point. She decided not to shoot him and confront him. She walked up to him.


"Why didn't you kill me when I was vulnerable?" She asked while he seemed honest and sincere.


"I only kill player unless someone hires me to kill them for coin, and reputation. You weren't on my list, and I don't like killing girls." he said thus pissing her off.


"Just cause I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm some child." She said while he raised his hands up defensively.


"I didn't mean it like that. I just wanna say that I'm looking towards to facing you in the tournament. Besides I wanna see if you would like to go hunting with me or go to a club or something." He said surprising her.


"Why? I tried to kill you in the jungle arena a few days ago. I wanted those dual holsters, but you beat me to it." She said as [F/N] only smiled.


"I don't hold any grudges. You actually taught me how to use my surroundings a bit more. I'm sorry if I took the holsters away from you. But there mine now." he said while Sinon only huffed.


"You're Sinon right?" he asked while she nodded.


"Well I'm [player name], but some call me Dual Shot." He introduced himself. They decided to pair up and practice their skills. They actually got a little closer. They practiced on monsters and fake targets, While they were walking, Sinon tripped and fell while accidentally taking [F/N] with her. She realized she was on top of him and his eye patch fell off. [F/N] blushed as he looked at her chest by accident and looked up at her red face. They yelled and got up. They were both blushing messes now.


"The hell was that??" [F/N] asked with anger and embarrassment as his cheeks were red. She was ready to slap him, but she pulled a gun out.


"I tripped!" She said as [F/N] took cover behind a rock.


"If you're gonna shoot me, then I don't mind firing some shots as well!" he said in panic and anger as a gun click was heard.


"I'm not gonna shoot you! I'll fill you with led!" She yelled as she pulled out her SMG. She took cover and started firing at him. He leaped over his cover and starting firing multiple shots with his dual Smith & Wesson pistols. He ran to another cover and leaped to it while shooting at her in midair. She fired at his cover which was soon being blown to bits. He ran and slid on the ground while shooting at her. Her cover was being filled with holes. She saw the red lines at her head and she dodged them while running toward [F/N]. He threw his flash bang and smoke grenade in the air and shot them. She was blinded now. As the smoke cleared up, they were both aiming their guns at each other's heads. [F/N] ran out of bullets for his one pistol while the the other had one bullet left. Sinon had one bullet left in her smg. After a brief stare off, they both had red cheeks. [F/N] started laughing as Sinon looked away in embarrassment.


"Well I'll consider that practice. I would like to see who would win at far distance." He said as he put back on his eye patch. Sinon only crossed her arms.


"I'll see you at the tournament." She said and started to walk off. He stopped her.


"Come on, we could still to a club or bar, I'll pay for it!" he said as Sinon thought about it. 


"Fine." She said as [F/N] smiled.


*later*


They chatted about how they started in GGO and the tournament.


"So this is really your first time in the tournament?" She asked while [F/N] took a sip of his drink.


"Yeah, and ever since my friend and I killed Behemoth, I was thinking on rising up the ranks a bit more you see. My friend made some good bets on me, so I don't wanna let him down." He said while Sinon grinned.


"If we meet each other, I won't hold back." She said.


"Alright, I'll make a deal with you." He said as Sinon took a sip of her drink.


"If I win, you gotta go on a date with me in real life. I'm not a weirdo, I'm quite a descent guy, so don't be nervous. If I lose, I'll give you my dual holsters, and if you want, I'll buy you lunch or something. Deal?" [F/N] negotiated. Sinon thought about it for a moment. She grinned at the thought of herself as a dual wielder and some one offering to pay for her lunch.


"Alright then, deal." She said and shook on it.



*Few days later*
*Sinon's point of view*



I met this newbie player with long and black hair. She seemed alright. As we walked, I saw [player name]. I walked up to him and he recognized me.


"Dual Shot, just to let you know, I'm taking you down in the tournament." I said as he only looked at the person behind me.


"Well then, I just want a friendly competition. I hope to have a good fight. Maybe we will play that game of hide and seek like in the jungle." He said as his eye patch was analyzing the girl behind me. After a few seconds, he just burst out laughing and walked away, nearly falling down from laughter. I forgot about it and showed the girl some routes and helped her earn money so she could get weapons. She picked a laser sword and a handgun. We rode off and registered for the tournament. I went into the waiting rooms and went to change my armor as the newbie followed me.


"WAIT!" I heard [player name] call as he was parkouring his way to us. He was wearing his armored assassin's trench coat as his eye patch was looking at Kirito.


"I know he didn't have any intention to misguide or trick you, but SHE is a dude." He said while I went wide eyed and looked at the boy. I was ready to slap him, but [player name]caught my hand.


"I'm positive Kirito didn't have any intentions, is that right??" [F/N] said to me and asked Kiriro with clenched teeth. I went on a head and changed. If it wasn't for [player name], Kirito would have seen my underwear.


"Yeah, I didn't mean to deceive you." He said as I calmed down. Afterwards, [player name] and Kirito sat next to me and Shinkawa. He didn't seem to fond of them. Kirto ticked me off and I wanted to face him in the semi finals, but I wanted to face off [player name] as well. The first round begun. After a while, I took out my opponent and won my first battle. I saw Kirito sitting down as if he was scared. I tapped his shoulder but he grabbed my hand and placed it on his chest. I watched at [player name]'s battle on the huge screen.



*No one's P.O.V*


Everyone watched since they wanted to see Dual Shot, the one half of the Dual Assassins, in action. It was the new jungle forest arena battlefield. Everyone watched as a player with a heavy machine gun walked through the forest. He saw as there was rustling in the bush. He grinned and shot at the bush. He soon realized nothing was there. Unknown to him, [F/N] was right in the area he was. A SV-98 popped out from the trees and shot the player's helmet off. He wanted to mess with his opponent's head a little bit. Another bullet pierced his shoulder, then his leg. 


"SHOW YOURSELF!!" he yelled as he shot into the trees where the shots came from. He soon grew angry and shot down the trees with his machine gun. He laughed.


"WHERE WILL YOU HIDE NOW?!" he yelled mockingly. he laughed, until a hooded figure appeared as his hooded trench coat was a forest camouflage. It soon turned back to it's original color as a shot from his SW1911 ended the match. [F/N] won his first match.  Everyone was impressed, some were already making bets. [F/N] emerged and walked up to Sinon who had a grin on her face.


"Not bad for your first match. It was smart to mess with your opponent then finish him off as he waste his bullets." She complimented [F/N] as he checked on Kirito. Kirito soon entered his match. It was soon time for their semi-final match.


Everyone watched at [F/N]'s semi-final match. It was a run down western town. The two players were visible as they walked from opposite sides. They soon started firing at each other. [F/N] was firing at his opponent with his dual pistols while the player was using an assault rifle. [F/N] leaped over his cover and shot two bullets into the player in midair. He threw a smoke grenade and shot it. he quickly climbed onto the rooftops and drew out his sniper. They fought throughout the rooftops and streets. He quickly shot his player in the skull and won the match. He would soon enter a special match afterwards. He watched a friendly match between Kirito and Sinon before the match. Suddenly he was teleported and it soon turned into a triple threat friendly match. He was transported to the battlefield. He perched himself up on a building and took the calculations. He saw Kirito walking towards Sinon. He decided to take him out first. He aimed and fired at Kirito, only to get the bullet sliced in half. He shot again and continued as he dodged shots from Sinon. [F/N] decided to confront him in close combat. He parkoured his way down the building and drew out his dual pistols.


"Got you in my sights now." Sinon said as she aimed after [player name]. He dodged her bullet and threw a flash bang at her.



"You're good with that sword, I'll give you tops for that." He to said Kirito as he got in his stance to shoot.


"Thanks." Kirito said. [F/N] shot bullets at Kirito as he deflected them. Kiriro ran after him and tried to slice him, but he was surprised as a blade from underneath the pistol blocked it. He only had one blade and he fought with Kirito.


"I found this pistol blade attachment a while back. I never thought I would need it until now." he said as Kirito smirked. They clashed as Sinon watched on in shock and amazement. She shot at them only to miss or be avoided. They inflicted damage on each other, but [F/N] was more close to death than Kirito. He soon sliced Kiriro across the chest and spun him around. He tried to shoot him the back of his head as Kirito dodged it. He soon jumped back and shot at Sinon, making her get out of her vantage point. She threw a grenade, but only [F/N] was blown back into no where. He was still alive, but he was no longer a threat for now. She fought with Kirito, but he had her in a tight spot as she was vulnerable. She was given a option to forfeit. She was about to, that was until a single bullet was blown through both of their heads. They both shattered as [F/N] was perched on a lamp post with his SV-98 sniper. He took them out with one shot, two birds with one stone. He soon fell off and shattered since he suffered heavy damage. He was still the winner of the match anyways. Everyone was spreading the word of Dual Shot aka [player name]. 


*Next day*


Asada was sitting in the swings as she complained to Shinkawa about Kirirto causing her to get shot by [F/N]. He was worried as she never bad mouthed anyone until now. He didn't like Kirito and [player name]. He soon saw that same (h/c) haired boy sit down in a bench once again and pull out his phone and begun listening to music. Asada greeted him with a slight smile.


"Hello." She said as he took out his earphones and waved.


"How are things?" He asked as she nodded.



"Hey, um you look familiar." he said as Sinon felt the same way.


"Good." She replied. The three of them chatted for a while. Unknown to Asada and Shinkawa, the bot didn't trust Shinkawa. He got a bad vibe off of him. They soon left but didn't get to say their names.

*Time Skip*




I was shocked as I watched Death Gun about to kill a player named pale rider. I shot at him, but the bullet passed right through him. Then suddenly, a barrage of bullets rained upon Death gun as he barely dodged it. He looked as [player name] was running at him with his dual SW1911 pistols. He soon saw Pale Rider on the ground, paralyzed. He soon threw smoke grenades and flash bangs. [player name] and Pale rider was gone. Death Gun ran off.  I felt a new found respect towards [player name], willing to throw himself in danger to help out a stranger in real life. Kirito told me every thing about Death Gun killing players in real life. I was shocked that [player name] would do such a thing to save someone. 



"[player name] just now saved a life." Kirito said.  


"He must be afraid of people losing their lives to Death Gun." I said as Kirito and I departed.


*later*
*Your P.O.V*



So far I have killed four players during this tournament. I saved Pale Rider from Death Gun and he thanked me. We negotiated to meet up later and have a fair fight with no one else around. I had to save as many as I can from Death Gun. I didn't know if he was somehow killing players in real life, but I didn't want to risk anyone's lives. I clicked my eye patch and tracked him down after taking out a player with my sniper. I got there as quickly as I could. Something came over me as I reached and saw Death Gun about to shoot a paralyzed Sinon. I drew out my pistols and fired at him as he suffered some damage. He seemed surprised as he suffered health loss. I then drew out my blade attachment and swung at him as he put way his pistol. I sliced his chest and shot as he avoided me. He then ran away as Kirito shot at him with a gun he found. The three of us escaped and laid low at the wastelands.  Kirirto explained everything thing about Death Gun. Kirito and Sinon shared how they killed people in the past, but I told them they protected innocent people, so they saved lives more than taking lives.


"I was a survivor of SAO." He said as [player name] looked at him. There was a  little bit of players left. Sinon clung onto me and cried as I was shocked. 



"Thank you." She said as she sobbed into my shoulder. I held onto her as I aimed my pistol at the entrance.



"Hey, right now all I care about is Death Gun being killed. I saved two people from him and I won't let him kill you of all people. When I saw you about to get killed, the first thing that caught my sights were you, and I knew you were in danger." I said as she clung onto me a little tighter. We came up with a plan for Sinon to snipe Dark Wind while I handle Pale Rider and Kirito finish Death Gun. I encountered him and fought with him. He injured me with his shotgun as it grazed my arm. I drew out my sniper as I laid down and shot at him. He was nearly dead. I soon leaped over the rock and jumped sideways as I avoided a blast from his shot gun. I shot two shots right into heart and into his head with my pistols as I was midair. I saw as Sinon shot Dark Wind and Kirito fought with Death Gun. I tossed Kirito my blade and he dual wielded it. He killed Death Gun with assistance from me and Sinon. We celebrated as it was finally over. It was the three of us left. 


"You know the three of us can win if we commit triple suicide." Sinon said as I couldn't help but just follow along. Sinon then took a step close to me as I was a little skeptical.


"I always knew you were in my sights." She said as she kissed me as Kirito only grinned. She pulled away as my eye patch was off the charts it overloaded and it had to be taken off. I pulled away from her as she was smiling and blushing. She quickly gave me her address and name, I quickly gave her mines as well.


"Forget the bet, let's just go on a real date after this." She said to me as my cheeks were on fire.


"And [F/N] is a cute name." She said as Kirito patted me on the back. She pulled out a grenade as I saw it beep off.


"WHAT THE FU-??"  I yelled as the grenade exploded.



*Sinons P.O.V*

I logged off and got ready for my date as I put on some normal clothes. I heard a knock on my door and saw Shinkawa with some pastries. We sat down as he congratulated me on winning the tournament. I remembered him telling me he liked me, but I had more feelings for [F/N]. He told me he liked me and he hugged me. He was acting so strange and I felt uncomfortable. I pushed him off as he looked at me in shock. He got up and drew out a syringe. I realized he was part of Death Gun. I tried to get away from him as he chased me, he dragged me as the door was partially opened. He yelled my name multiple times, he was insane. I saw as someone drove him a kick to his face, nearly snapping his neck. The two boys fought as I saw that (h/c) haired boy fighting him.


"Asada, run!" he yelled as I realized that was-


"[F/N]." I said in shock. They fought as Shinkawa nearly injected [F/N] with the syringe, but knocked it away from his hand. [F/N] kicked him away while I saw a boy with black hair rush inside and punch Shinkawa. He was soon curb stomped by [F/N], knocked unconscious.  I was saved by [F/N] and Kirito.  


*Few days later*
*Your P.O.V*



Kirito and I helped Asada through some therapy as she overcame her fear of guns after Kirito gave me permission to borrow his motorcycle and picked her up. I finally got the chance to go on my date with her as she looked more cuter in real life. She said I looked cuter in real life. We chatted as we sat at a cafe. We chatted about GGO and we planned on starting to play ALO with Kirito and his friends.


"[F/N], I actually thought you were cute when I first saw you. I didn't know how I felt, but when you saved me and saved others from Death Gun, I was positive about my feelings for you." She told me as she had red on her cheeks.


"I found you kind of hot and cute when you were angry and got in a shootout with me." I told her as she laughed.


"Do you wanna go to a another date tomorrow? I really like spending time with you and taking my mind off of things." She asked as I nodded. She leaned over the table and planted a kiss on my lips.


"See you tomorrow." She said.


"Don't worry, no matter where you are, even if I can't see you, you'll always be in my sights." I said to her as she blushed.
